The owners, Leon and Rhonda Epling came from Elkhorn City, Kentucky.  While working the coal mines beside his father, Leon dreamed of a different life for he and Rhonda.  One with blue skies overhead, surrounded by majestic mountain ranges, and a lake filled with bass, perch and crappie tossed in for good measure.  A place where every day  the beauty of God’s creation is evident.

Years of hard work later their dream has resulted in  the Epling's ownership of Sunrise Homes, the parent company for: Fountain Bay Construction, a company that has build over 100 custom homes and developed several complete subdivisions including; Leon’s Rock; German Creek Marina & Resort, and Renegade Ridge; Leon and Rhonda have been amazed by the number of  people that want to share in their dream.  Holding down the office, Rhonda coordinates the Land and Homes Sales and financial responsibilities. While Leon is the visionary, having the plans in his head for each project long before any drawings are produced.
